About RBT Live

When we modify the environment and change the adult response, we change outcomes.

Meet Our Founder: Sean Reimers, MS, BCBA, IBA

Sean Reimers has spent over 16 years working alongside the very populations RBT Live was created to support, serving in group homes, teaching special education, and consulting across schools, after school programs, and care-based settings. Throughout that time, one pattern became impossible to ignore. The individuals on the frontlines were often the least equipped, yet they were the ones expected to manage the most complex and challenging behaviors.

RBT Live was born out of that realization.

Sean saw firsthand that many educators, direct care staff, and support professionals were doing their best without access to the most up to date, evidence based behavioral science practices. While behavioral science has clearly identified effective strategies, those tools were not consistently reaching the people who needed them most. This gap often led to burnout, frustration, and inconsistent or inappropriate responses to behavior. In some cases, it also contributed to serious consequences for organizations, including complaints and legal challenges that could have been prevented with proper training and support.

At its core, RBT Live is grounded in a simple but powerful belief. When we change the environment and improve how adults respond to behavior, we change outcomes. Students and clients begin to feel safer, more supported, and more successful. Behavior improves, relationships strengthen, and individuals are better able to reach their goals.

Sean's purpose is to help create more consistent, supportive, and human centered environments for vulnerable populations by equipping the people closest to them with practical, effective skills. He believes that when frontline staff are properly trained and supported, everything changes, not just behavior, but the overall quality of care, connection, and long-term outcomes.
